Maeve Bowen
Maeve has managed Macroom E since it opened in 2004 and has a background in business and social science.  Previous to taking the position in Macroom, Maeve worked as operations manager with a start-up scientific company, with the multi-national Sun Microsystems and with the Enterprise Trust.  Maeve has a degree in English and Sociology, a Higher Diploma in Rural Development and an MSc from University College Cork.  Maeve is currently undertaking a PhD in Social Science on the subject of digital storytelling.  Maeve's interests lie in behavioural change and creative social projects.

Julie Crowley
Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Marketing Degree from Cork Institute of Technology.  Julie comes from a hospitality background, having worked in both Events and Sales & Marketing roles to a five star level. Her role as Marketing Manager for a large scale events centre involved devising sales strategies, as well as creating and implementing advertising campaigns.  Julie has worked on a variety of projects with Macroom E over the last five years including Sustainability Stories West Cork, co-ordinating and advising on the set-up of new enterprise centres and EU Circular Ocean project.  Julie's interests lie in developing marketing strategies particularly with community projects.

Eimear Cusack
Eimear joined the Macroom-e Team in 2015. She holds a BA in Philosophy & Psychology, a H.Dip in Psychology and an MSc in Consumer Psychology with Business. Eimear has worked in a number of communications roles within the not for profit and mental health sectors as well as, most recently, in the food industry. Eimear is particularly interested in behaviour change, marketing and communications. For her Masters’ thesis, she tested a communication intervention with the objective of reducing high-risk behaviours on construction sites.
